Krystina and Matthew are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Josie and Jessica.

For 15 years the McNeils have managed Mercy Maternity Center, a charity clinic serving impoverished families living in the squatter areas of Davao City. Prior to her work at MMC Krystina was a midwife volunteer at two large birthing clinics located in Manila. She also has an extensive background in Primary Health Care. She pioneered a comprehensive PHC training program for Bible school students and supervised many PHC clinics in squatter areas. In addition, she established a church-based prenatal clinic in Manila for impoverished women.

Krystina is a licensed midwife and a highly gifted instructor. She and her staff have trained almost 200 foreign midwife students in addition to dozens of short tern interns. Some of these graduated students are now serving as midwives in other developing countries. Some licensed graduates have even returned to to the Philippines to help train new students. In addition, Krystina has trained several Filipino midwives who also serve on staff positions. Over the course of these past many years Krystina, her staff and the students who have come to MMC for training have delivered more than 17,000 babies.
