Why Consider Newlife
At Newlife International School of Midwifery our goal is to train midwives to make a difference in the world! The World Health Organization (WHO) has made a plea for midwives to serve in developing countries. Scripture provides God's plea for us to bring compassion and kindness to the suffering. Mission organizations have presented their universal plea to focus on developing countries especially those located within the 10/40 Window.
The more midwives we can train and send out, the greater impact we can make on the world. Our curriculum is centered on excellence in midwifery education. Our clinical setting is unique in providing each student with a multitude of opportunities to learn valuable life saving skills within the context and environment of a developing country.
Mercy Maternity Center is an 'Out-of-Country' NARM Approved Clinical Site

A Personal Testimony
"Getting rejected from a university I had applied to drove me to look for midwifery programs outside of Canada and I accidentally stumbled onto Newlife while searching for schools online. It seemed like such an amazing program and I applied on a whim, thinking I probably wouldn’t get accepted. Along with my application to Newlife I also applied to about 4 other programs at local schools, just in case.
So here I am, after my first year of this amazing program, not having regretted one minute of the ride. When prospective students ask me about the schooling I’m full of enthusiasm. The independent learning style is completely suited to my personal needs and learning format; I love having my own timeline, yet a common deadline helps form goals and limits. I’ve always loved research projects and since every assignment is such, I’m really forced to know the information. It has caused me to spend more time on things I don’t understand and feel confidant writing about the things I do."
