Prerequisites

Prerequisites for acceptance into Newlife International School of Midwifery include the following:

• Completed Application

• High School Diploma or GED

• Letter of Recommendation from church pastor including email contact information for follow-up

• Letter of Recommendation from relative or close friend

• Letter of Recommendation from employer or teacher

Optional classes newly accepted students may take prior to their arrival at Newlife School;

• BIO 155 (or equivalent). Anatomy and Physiology - 4 college credits

• MATH 112 (or equivalent). Fundamental Math - 3 college credits

• ENG 200 (or equivalent). Analytical Writing - 4 college credits

• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification from AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics)

• Adult/Child/Infant CPR Certification
