Krystina McNeil (MPHEd, BA, ASM, CPM, LM) is the Founder and Director of Newlife Int'l School of Midwifery. She and her husband, Matthew, have lived and served as missionaries in the Philippines for 27 years where they oversee a team numbering approximately 80 people.

Krystina holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Foreign Languages and Education from Lewis and Clark College, and an Associate of Science Degree in Midwifery from the National College of Midwifery. She completed  a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Health Professions Education: Accreditation and Assessment from Keele University, Manchester.

Matthew is an ordained minister and serves as the administrator of Newlife School and as the field director of the overall organization. He has also trained several thousand Filipino pastors how to plant new churches. Matthew is also the founder of Project Challenge Foundation and Newlife Int'l Development Partnership mission organization. Krystina and Matthew are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Josie and Jessica.

Krystina is a highly gifted instructor. She and her staff have trained more than 250 midwife students in addition to dozens of short term interns. Over the course of the past two decades Krystina, her staff and the students who have come to our facility for training have delivered more than 28,000 babies.

Georgia Leigh Macad (CPM) is the founder and director of Abundant Grace of God Maternity Center which is a partner clinical site of Newlife School of Midwifery. Georgia is originally from British Columbia, Canada who has been working in the Philippines since she graduated Midwifery school in 2005.

 

Georgia met her husband Achao, a native Filipino from the northern province of Kalinga, and together they founded Abundant Grace of God Maternity Center to serve the Indigenous people of the area. The center was the very first licensed Birthing Home in the province of Kalinga, Philippines where Georgia and her Filipino staff have delivered almost 3000 babies.

 

Georgia’s passion is to train local midwives to share God’s love with the families of Kalinga through compassionate and competent midwifery care. Since 2007 she has trained over 25 local midwives and 13 missionary midwives.

 

Achao takes care of all of the practical needs of the clinic and ministry such as car maintenance, clinic repairs, renovations and driving the clinic ambulance to name a few. Georgia and Achao have been married since 2007 and have three handsome sons; Emmaus, Lucas and Zion.

Bethany Holt (RM) is from Yorkshire, England. She came to serve at Newlife’s clinical facility in 2013 for a 3-month internship after qualifying as a midwife in the UK. She then returned to Newlife in 2016 after gaining additional experience in a hospital in the UK.

 

She is passionate about serving women through maternal healthcare and sharing God's love with them. Her hobbies include a love of biking, running and swimming which she is quite passionate about and has competed in many races. 

Pictured here are Newlife’s full-time staff midwives who serve as academic and clinical educators. Our internationally trained preceptors provide a wealth of experience that cannot be matched at any other training site. The majority of Newlife’s preceptors have served in this capacity for over 10 years, bringing with them unmatched skills and experience.
