Krystina McNeil (MPHEd, BA, ASM, CPM, LM) is the Founder and Director of Newlife School of Midwifery. She and her husband, Matthew, served as missionaries in the Philippines for 30 years.

Krystina holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Foreign Languages and Education from Lewis and Clark College, and an Associate of Science Degree in Midwifery from the National College of Midwifery. She completed a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Health Professions Education: Accreditation and Assessment from Keele University, Manchester.

Krystina is a highly gifted instructor. She and her staff have trained more than 300 midwife students in addition to dozens of short term interns. Over the course of the past three decades Krystina, her staff and students have delivered more than 35,000 babies.
​
Matthew is an ordained minister and trained several thousand Filipino pastors how to plant new churches. Matthew is also the founder of Project Challenge Foundation and Newlife Int'l Development Partnership mission organization. Krystina and Matthew are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Josie and Jessica.

Greg and Lois Lewis (MD and CPM respectively) are the new Directors of Mercy Maternity Center in Davao City which is the clinical training site for Newlife School. They hail from western New York State, and Western Canada respectively, though they found each other in the Philippines! Greg is a Family Practice board certified Medical Doctor, and Lois is a Certified Professional Midwife, and previous graduate of Newlife International School of Midwifery.
Over the past 16 years Greg and Lois have been involved with medical work in the Philippines, and both believe strongly in whole person medical care. Greg, Lois and their 5 children have been based in the Philippines the past 5 years as a family, and have answered the call to come and lead at MMC. 

We are excited to be leading the team at MMC, and are thrilled to be using our gifts to serve.
Hannah Irwin (RN, CPM) is the Academic Coordinator at New Life School of Midwifery. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2013. She decided to further pursue women’s healthcare and attended New Life herself from 2017-2019. Hannah grew up as an MK in Ecuador, Ukraine, and Russia.
She loves traveling and she has visited almost 25 countries to date. Hannah has a passion for improving women and infant healthcare outcomes and also teaching and training future midwives. She also loves getting out in nature, going on adventure hikes in the mountains, and camping at the beach.
Bethany Holt (RM) is from Yorkshire, England. She came to serve at Newlife’s clinical facility in 2013 for a 3-month internship after qualifying as a midwife in the UK. She then returned to Newlife in 2016 after gaining additional experience in a hospital in the UK.
She is passionate about serving women through maternal healthcare and sharing God's love with them. Her hobbies include a love of biking, running and swimming which she is quite passionate about and has competed in many races.

Greta Swartzentruber (CPM) is a Clinical and Academic Preceptor for Newlife School of Midwifery's overseas program and hails from Fayetteville Pennsylvania. She has been serving at Newlife's clinical facility since 2017, after completing her training in the US.
Greta is passionate about natural birth, patient education, training midwifery students and sharing the love of Jesus through quality care. Her hobbies, apart from cuddling babies include, baking, dancing/fitness and drinking coffee.
Pictured here are Newlife’s Overseas Program full-time staff midwives who serve as academic and clinical educators at our overseas clinic. . Our internationally trained preceptors provide a wealth of experience that cannot be matched at any other training site. The majority of Newlife’s overseas preceptors have served in this capacity for over 10 years, bringing with them unmatched skills and experience.
Our program provides qualified clinical preceptors at our overseas site & competent academic staff in both programs, helping to ensure students graduate thoroughly equipped.
